"This is such a quaint little shop Owensboro desperately needed. They offer a unique selection of café, smoothies, and tea. The barista was super chill and kind enough to help me through the menu. The boutique offers an interesting collection of jewelry, minerals, handcrafted figures and pottery, vintage shirts, and local art. The lounge has several sofas, tables and chairs great for interesting conversations, studying, meetings, or a date. The music is also fitting for this setting. In just the little time I sat and enjoyed my latte, I heard The Cure, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, and The Smashing Pumpkins. If I had any criticism of the place I'd put a bit of emphasis on ambient scent in the various sections of the lounge. The place doesn't smell bad, to the contrary, it obviously smells like roasted coffee beans, but the further reaches of the lounge could be better enjoyed with some light light fragrance that would evolve memories of small shops I've visited in larger cities. It would also benefit from a free to play sit down style arcade Pac-Man (set to quite) or a small board game area. But all of this is not necessary to make the visit to The Spot enjoyable and worth returning to. I'll definitely be back."
