The Spot Coffee and Finery is a locally owned coffee shop and boutique gift store proudly serving Owensboro, KY, and surrounding areas since 2017. We specialize in high-quality, small-batch roasted coffee, organic espresso drinks, loose-leaf teas, and refreshing smoothies. All of our beans are roasted to order and sourced from fair trade, Rainforest Alliance Certified farms that use sustainable farming practices.

At The Spot, we’re more than just a coffee shop — we’re a community hub. Whether you’re grabbing a cold brew to-go, enjoying a handcrafted latte while browsing our curated selection of unique gifts, or attending one of our live music events or local art showcases, we strive to offer something special for everyone. We love a local coffee shop! Here from Ohio visiting friends in Owensboro, so we wanted to skip the chains and check out a local place. They had a creative menu with plenty of customization options and even a kids menu! My husband chose a hot Danny Boy, and I got an iced Cocoa in a Nutshell. Both were delicious! If we go back tomorrow, we'll probably ask the baristas to make them slightly less sweet. We took our coffee to-go, but the couch and chairs looked comfy enough to spend a couple hours chatting with friends or reading a book.
